Hanandeh called on digital companies to make the "best" use of incentives to expand and develop their businesses in the local and foreign markets, which would provide new job opportunities for Jordanian youth.

The programme, he said, aims to provide grants and incentives to Jordanian digital companies to build links with potential clients and partners in regional and global markets, as well as secure new contracts in new regional and international markets such as the Gulf Cooperation Council, Europe, China, India, and the United States of America, and thus create job opportunities. For his part, Deputy British Ambassador to Jordan, Richard Moon, said the UK is pleased to work alongside the ministry and the World Bank through its support for the Youth, Technology and Jobs project.

The programme, the diplomat noted, stimulates digital companies in Jordan to grow and create new job opportunities, stressing that this will enable Jordan's private sector to develop its business and export its products to new markets.
